Pack overlapping uvs -blender

I am trying to pack some uvs that overlap each other so they touch the edge of the uv image border still overlapped like this vid:

After the end of the vid, is there a way you could rescale the ovelapped uvs to touch the uv border on both ends with a pack button. Using the scale wouldn't get this precisely. Maybe have a ''selected uv island as a group'' like in the addon but packs the group to fill the border?

activate the image bounds
put the cursor to 0,0
drag the uvs to the bottom-left corner
use the cursor as manipulator and scale until the uv touch the bounds

Is there a way to maintain aspect ratio of the uvs as you scale? I noticed with constrain to image bounds, while scaling the uvs now move in the y axis when it touches the uv edges in the x direction. Is there a way it can lock to the aspect ratio or scale without scaling upwards?
