maybe a noob question, but didn't turn up anything online or in the forums

in 4.15 (and 4.8 from what I see in the tutorial videos), Blendspace has settings for Min/Max values, and number of divisions between Min/Max. There's no way to specify anims to play at arbitrary points between Min/Max values? if I started out with 2 divisions from 0 to 100; but want to place anim at 25; I have to increase division to 4? or to put it in another way, if I had idle, walk forward, backward, and run. I need to make a blendspace for idle->walk foward -> run; and a separate blendspace for walk backward->idle; and set up transitions between the two blendspace states?
