Help needed - techniques for sculpting skins

Hello guys. I am looking for some techniques for creating creature skins. I've already got a lot of references but when it comes to creating it's complicated. I found some information on the process of creating with alpha and by hand.
Anyone who has any idea or tutorial about different techniques and forms, and can collaborate, would be very welcome.
