[Designer] Editing a default shader template

Hey, 
just getting into Substance and I was wondering if it would be possible to edit the Dota 2 shader template that ships with Designer to reflect the update to Source Engine 2. The main thing being the fact that all the textures that were previously stored in the RGBA channels of the _mask1 and _mask2 maps are now exported separately.

I would do this myself, but having just recently picked up Substance, I can't for the life of me find how to do that and my research has yielded nothing on the subject. 

For the moment, I'm getting around it by defining separate outputs for the different masks while retaining the _mask1 and _mask2 outputs that came with the template so the shader displays correctly in the 3D viewport.
