Im having an isue finding a working script that does this. TEXT tools and turbo tools seem incompatible now since they haven't been updated in ever. Any help would appreciated!
Both TexTools and TurboTools work on 2016/2017. Also, I recommend Polyunwrapper plugin. I can't imagine life without it now.(it also has UV>SG function)
As @musashidan suggested, the Polyunwrapper plugin is fantastic and actively being developed. it's a great supplement to the standard unwrap tools in 3ds Max.
