Lead Designer
Seeking a Lead Designer to join a team of 5 working on an unannounced 3rd person shooter.
Payment
$10/hr + $10/hr in royalties with potential to boost royalties to $15/hr. 30-40 hours per month. Paid twice a month.
Responsibilities
+Revision and Additions to overall written design, designing boss experiences, puzzles to defeat bosses or areas, player abilities and powerups.
+Continuous iteration and ideas with feel of the game. The person spending most of the time playing the game, pitching new gameplay ideas.
+Designing 2D layouts of level and player flow within the level, then blocking out levels in 3D with basic placeholder art.
+Placement of major key props/items(for instance doors, stairs, trees), interactions, spawn points, special interactions (camera panning/cinematics). Then further polishing of level adding lights, minor props, potentially texture decals.
Qualifications
+Must have a portfolio demonstrating ability to work in 3D at a beginner to intermediate level.
+Must be able to speak English well and ability to join Skype meetings.
Preferences
+Student, Recent Grad or extensive portfolio/mod work.
+Currently employed and seeking a project.
