Animator - Epic Games Unreal Tournament

Epic Games, the award-winning developer known for the Unreal series of games, Gears of War, and the Unreal Engine, is searching for a talented animator with a great understand of the fundamentals of animation and how they relate to game animation to work on Unreal Tournament. The animator will implement animations in the Unreal 4 editor using our animation blueprint system.
The person in this role will be responsible for the following:
- Create gameplay animations in Maya using our ART tools set
- Take animation from initial concept through to implementation in Unreal Engine 4 using our animation blueprint system
- Work with the team to help drive the style and feel of Paragon’s animation
The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:
- You have an animation reel showing key-framed character and creature animations
- Strong experience with Maya and gameplay systems, and at least one shipped title
- Good instincts for realistic and stylized motions
- You have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with the Unreal Engine 4 art pipeline
- Related skills; such as modeling, skinning, rigging
- Experience working with mocap data
