What Albedo Values are needed, when using a Diffuse Texture

Hi, I´m kind cracking up my head and the Unity website hasn´t been too helpful with that. What I´d need to know is, what regular value needs to be set in the Albedo Colorpicker when using a regular Diffuse Texture in the Material. Adding a simple Texture doesnt override the Albedovalue and one still can tint the diffuse, which is quite nice, but is not what i want if i work with specific RGB values in the diffuse texture. Do i have to set this to pure white or medium grey? Cheers

I can't  guarantee it's correct, but I always set it to white.

Should pretty much always be white to start if you want 1:1 what you're outputting from your tools.
The tinting has many different uses, but the #1 thing that i use it for is to make slight adjustments after light baking if something isnt quite matching its surroundings or the colors feel a bit off. This can be especially useful to save on texture memory if you have multiple instances of that mesh that each need a slightly different adjustment
