I had this problem, I contacted a mod and they fixed it. They mentioned in another thread about this that they go through and approve everyones accounts as the rejected posts show up for approval so if you just wait a bit they'll probably get to it.
If you try to post but you see a message like "Your comment will appear after it is approved", this means your text has caught the attention of our Spam filter. Don't make multiple posts, they'll just keep getting blocked. Your post will be approved as soon as we clear the spam queue, which we do every day or so. Thanks for your patience! If you still have trouble please message one of the moderators.
We don't expect long-time members to know about this though, as that thread has evolved over time. Just good to know about.
The way our Spam filter works, all accounts automatically start as Not Verified.
When we clear the queue, we mark non-spammers as Verified, which means the spam filter shouldn't grab your posts anymore. This should also restore posts that were blocked.
Unfortunately if you disregard the "your post is awaiting moderation" error message, and keep trying to re-post, this doesn't get you past the filter.
Instead it just makes duplicate posts, which we have to clear manually.
When we did the website upgrade in November, every account was automatically set as Not Verified. It would be great if longtime accounts could be automatically set as Verified, for example if you have more than 10 posts or something, but the new system doesn't work that way. It's a bit of a manual thing.
If I see someone's profile is set to Not Verified, I'll Verify them right then and there. If I remember. Otherwise it's done when we clear the Spam Queue, which is about once a day or so.
