Here are the things you can expect from this position:
- - Work with the Creative Director and
Art Lead you will determine the specific assets needed for a project then turn
those needs into market-ready products for both new and existing IP
- Create amazing game-ready 2D art assets based on concept art and direction
- Quickly iterate concept drawings
- Create full colour functional concepts
- Work closely with the Art Lead, Game Designers, Animators, Character Artists, and Producer in support of creating content for the game
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives with creative design
- Manage responsibilities across multiple projects
- - Art or Animation related experience -
3 years preferred
- Solid understanding of perspective, composition, and colours
- Ability to quickly concept layout and convey colour / lighting
- Ability to take a rough concept / colour to final rendered painting
- Proficient in Photoshop
- Strong knowledge of the game development process
- Direct industry experience on multiple shipped titles
