When drawing new polys onto a model using edit topolgy in zbrush some of the polys from the appended adaptive skin are flipped. Trying to use the model brush goes wrong because of this. Is there a way to flip single polys? Flip just seems to reverse the entire new part. Going into max to flp individual polys is always possible, but why if it isnt necessary? Never had this proiblem before, any help appreciated.

Edit: Appears that if there are too few polys in a strip zbrush doesnt like it. Running a loop (in edit topo mode not with the model brush) solved the problem. If you have a single one poly strip you can sculpt it fine, only the model brush wont work.

Also you cant draw discontinued shapes on your model and extrude them with the model brush after appending the resulting skin because the polys have opposed normals. You have to make a form that is joined and then delete the unwanted connection polys by delete hidden before you use them to model.

Just a thought Kanga, have you used the Zmodeler Brush (or is that what you are referring to as the model brush) to flip the individual polys?  I'm not in front of my comp at the mo, but could you flip the entire model intially to view the flipped polys, and then use the Zmodeler Brush to flip the single polys and then flip the whole model again once done?

    Hope that makes sense.
