What would be considered a good game animation demo reel?

SO I'm working on a few stuff right now but sometimes I'm still confused on how my reel should be done if I'm aiming for animation in games.

I mean, I've watched some professional reels and I'm still confused on some things:

First, the length of the reel; what is too short, what is too long? I know I should be only showing my best stuff but like...should I avoid posting walk/run cycle or are these stuff too basic? What kind of motion do they expect to see? Parkours, fight, idle?

I have a few ''dialogue acting'' WIP right now but I'm not sure if it's convenient to show them?

And,I heard from a friend that using popular rigs is not always good so should I use my own personal rigs for more originality? I've made this atheltic girl rig lately and I'm tihnking of using her for all the stuff in my reel now. Is it bad or should I put more diversity into featured characters?

DO they expect full render or playblast is allright?

Also, do employers expect to see Blending motions or Actual game demonstration?

Need some info plz.
