Hey Guys just a quick question.

I've got a perfect tiled texture (that i sculpted using the wrap mode) in zbrush.
But what i want to do is, when using the surface noise, i want it to keep on tiling.

When i use it, the tile is broken, is there a way to fix this?

1HJAug0.jpg that's the texture. Everything would tile perfectly untill i use the noise modifier in Zbrush.

Are you using BPR before you export your sculpt data?

What i do is a bit clunky but it works. Make your tilable base mesh, add surface noise, export the mesh and render out a displacement map, open it in PS, use offset and paint over the seams.

Then save your displacement map (16bit is best), import your base mesh were you started sculpting your tileable, subdivide it up to the same level as before, go to surface tab and open noise, click on alpha on/off in the bottom left corner, import your displacement, put noise scale to max to avoid getting any then set alpha scale to 0.5... adjust the strength accordingly.

Not sure if there is a better way, i wish i knew of one :P
