Do somebody know what happened with http://www.fxguide.com/featured/tandent-lightbrush-engineering-an-image/

It was a cool soft , although pretty slow and crashy from what I saw with demo I requested few years ago. I can't make up my mind that time + it was quite an expensive.
Then it just disappeared. Anybody heard any news about it?

It wasnt too popular as a standalone software, so it transformed into a cloud service. this:

Yeah, found it recently too.     Still a bit to expensive for the photogrammetry purpose  with usually handreds of images

We did an eval of it before it disappeared. It's a pretty neat software, but it didn't always work well when removing shadows from straight-on photos of surfaces. You had to manually tell it where to look for shadows and what to do. Just from using it, you could tell that Lightbrush wasn't meant for game dev, but for professional photographers, like people working in ad agencies.

For game dev, I'd wait for Alchemist. It seems to be able to do exactly what we need, and Allegorithmic is a kickass company for listening to what their customers want. I have high hopes that those guys will just make the very best de-lighting solutions we need.
