Moving to Guildford, UK, anyone know a good roomshare going?

Since my little 2 year stint in London is now over I've finally got a job in Guildford but currently living in Portsmouth for the next few weeks isnt making things easy looking for a houseshare in Guildford.. (most go on spareroom before i arrive)


So thought I'd be cheeky and see if any of you fine people know of a possible room going so I can get my foot in?

Yeah, I had the same problem when I moved to Guildford, ended up at the YMCA hostal for a week. Working doing the day and in the evening I looked for a place. It's not easy, housing can be pretty expensive, found a place in the end, but had to pick one at the edge, but it was okay as I had a bike.

Don't live in Guildford anymore, so can't really help with references, but I used a couple of websites for it, like http://uk.easyroommate.com

Yeah its getting stupid now, was hoping moving away from London I wouldn't have to do this anymore.. Think I'll be just driving up from Portsmouth every day instead until I'm settled.

Guildford is a great place to live if you can get past the crazy rental prices

Well done for finding a place, and best of luck in the new job.

Top tip, never rent always buy the cheapest property around, I had a look and around at the low end and this needs some DIY.
