Combining meshes in UE4, Group or Blueprint or...?

Hey guys I'm working with a modular building set in UE4 and its getting a little disorganized. I'm more familiar with Unity's prefabs. Essentially I want to make individual buildings that I can still append meshes to/ change materials/ edit. Blueprint seems to complicate this making it difficult to edit/ add meshes after the fact, but maybe I'm doing it wrong? Grouping isn't quite what I'm looking for either, all the original pieces remain in the world outliner. I don't want to have to make a folder for everything. Is there an easier solution to this?
