Quad Chamfer tool in Maya?

I'm getting familiar with Maya at the moment and I was wondering; is there a quad chamfer tool in Maya that is similar to 3dMax's Quad Chamfer?

The bevel tool in Maya works in quads. You just need two or more segments.

there are some hints that there will be a quad chamfer in the next version. take a look at the last maya LT vid...

there is a script in the ninja dogo tool that chamfers hard edges. I tried it and it kinda works though u need to do some cleaning after.

I had been making this request to Autodesk for awhile now and they finally came through in ext 2.
