[FONT=&quot]1) Is there a way of incremental saving? Cause I'm a bit concerned about saving over and over just on the same file.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]2) How can I use smoothing groups (hard edges). There is no FBX import and Obj doesn't store hard edges?[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]For instance: Cryengine - does it just simplify the workflow, like putting the gloss in the alpha channel or does it convert luminance/ rgb values from DDO to the target engine?[/FONT]

    Hi!

    1. Yes, you can increment on save but only through additonal script.

    2. OBJ supports smoothing groups it just need to be switched on in export options. I believe you using Max? There is a [Texture coordinates] [Normals] and [Smoothing groups] checkboxes, and you need to turn Faces option to triangels to prevent 3DO bugs.
