IN PROGRESS: Quixel Error message

Hey there!
So i downloaded Quixel Suite 1.8, and now WHen i boot up the application, and attempt bring in a mesh, with an albedo map, i end up getting these error messages.
Error 8800: General Photoshop error occurred. This functionality may not be availiable in this verison of photoshop.
- The object "red channel of merged layer of document "hydraulic Cutter Diffuse_ base Tex Baked. Png" is not currently available.

I googled, the problems, and I'll list off what i've tried.
1. made sure i'm using a 64 bit version of photoshop, and 64 bit version of quixel suite.
2. I didnt use the legacy key thats on my quixel.com account
3. I tried deleting my preferences in Photoshop.
Currently I'm attempting to hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift, and seeing if that works.

I went ahead and rolled it back to 1.7. I didnt download 1.8. and its working.
I'm not completely sure thats the issue, but i'm going to attempt to ugprade to 1.8, and try now.
