Made a painting & a video. Would like some feedback!

I made this for reddit's dota2 subreddit, but it didn't get much traction. I was curious what you guys thought of the video and of the final piece. I figured that if it did well I would attempt to make an item set based on the painting, but it maybe isn't going to garner enough interest to do so. With that said, i'd like some critiques on the project I can learn from before i start the next piece.

Great video and a stunning piece of traditional art ... My only crit would be some stronger lighting to make it pop a little more I guess. Quick paint over (hope you don't mind.)

Thanks for the critique! i can see what you mean about upping the contrast over all. The original is a bit better than what you see on the screen, but not as good as what you're suggesting. Ill make sure to keep that in mind for the next one
