Zbrush clay tubes weird behavior

Hi everyone. I'm having weird behavior with clay tubes and wondering if I've changed any brush settings that might have caused this. Instead of able to drag it as long as I want, the brush seems to only work in a tiny area where I start my stroke.

For ex in this picture I did stroke all the way down to the pelvis, but that tiny little stroke at the back is all I've got.


This seems to be saved with the project. Clay tube works normally when I restart Zbrush and load random default projects, but it starts doing this right away when I load my own project.

Turned out it was the topological setting. Quite unexpected since the whole model was already dynamesh'ed together. Maybe because it has doesn't have clean topology?http://imgur.com/5UKzGuK


Tried unify, it only made stroke lasted a lil longer.

There is a 'Reset all brushes' option in your brush pallet, try that.

Is topological turned on under auto masking in the brush tab? I get the same thing with that setting on.
