UTMC - Hamstocks

Hello all! This is the first challenge I have entered on polycount, and I'm really excited about it. I have never really done any environment art, but am looking forward to the challenge!

The theme I am going for is kind of like a contrast between industrial and upper class areas, mixing places of work with places of high society, or even just dirty, grimy, industrial zones. Below are some thumbnails I drew to get the ideas flowing:



Sorry for the quality of the photo, my laptop doesn't take amazing pictures, but it gets the job done. You probably can't tell what most of this is, but that's alright, I can . So yeah, that's what I have so far, and what I'm going for.

Keep an eye out for more pictures as I refine my idea, and get going on some actual paintings.

looks to me like you are on to something here, good thumbnails. It's still a bit early to tell where it will head but theese could become quite epic kind of settings.

hey thanks a lot delofasht! I'm still working on some larger rough sketches, but when I have those done I'll post them so you can see a bit better what I'm going for.
