From low poly bake, to high poly painting

Hi guys,

So this is something I've been racking my brain over for a bit now. I started a character a few months back to teach myself the high poly sculpting to game res mesh pipeline, and needless to say, there have been some kinks along the way.

I've brought all my pieces into Xnormal and baked out AO/diffuse/normal maps using my retopod meshes that have UVs, and my high poly meshes from Zbrush. It looks like it all went fine, and I combined all my maps and etc

My problem is the next step. Now I'm going back into Zbrush to polypaint all of the pieces. What I don't understand, is how to transfer that polypaint onto my baked maps. My high poly mesh is different from my retopo'd and UV'd mesh, so I'm kind of lost on what the next step is.

Any help would be majorly appreciated!
