3DSMAX Maxscript Undo

When using Maxscript 'Undo On( ... )' 3DSMAX does not see the whole block as one big undo. When for example I use loops within the 'Undo on' block and change object properties these changes are seen as separate Undo entries. When I use Undo, a lot of these changes are stored separately, and I have to undo many times to undo everything in, what should be, one Undo block. Isn't there a way to save all changes in one Undo block as one undo instead of multiple entries?
