The Crystl - Noob challenge 10

Hi polycount ,

I decided to remake the concept "crystal" designed by the talented artist "masaki".

I have already begin 3 texture about this project you can see on this post.

And now I poste the middle part of the concept. I don't remake EXACTLY the same thing than the concept but it's a inspiration.

So, I know the crystal is too contrasted and burn a little but don't worry I will be change this.

Any critics, suggestions, advices are very welcome. I'm posting here my work to improve it.

sorry for a slowly update but I don't have many time to work on personal project.

Here a little update for the zbrush of pillar.

I will make the texture soon.

Well it looks good so far. I like the 2nd picture of your 1st post. I think you nailed that part.

The pillar though doesn't look like the one in the concept. There is a lack of details, but I'm not sure if you want that to be like that.

But good job so far.

@Shad0w_Walker : thanks you for your advice , I'm glad to you enjoy my work. About the pillar you are right it's not the same of the concept. But I don't reproduct EXACTLY the concept , it's just a guide line . I hope you enjoye my version

it's a long time I didn't put my work. But I didn't have many time for work on this project. So I put one update on UDK .

The lighting is not finish , it's just a simple lighting without good lightmaping.

ofcourse comments or advice is welcome .
