I have been using this workflow for a long time. I wanted to have pretty similar results like using dDo. I learned this by myself and I made a short tutorial for it to my portfolio. It´s not for AAA quality but for small props that you want to texture fast and then move to another.

This is something that I got about in 3 minutes without any brush strokes. Only drawback is that you have to have a normal map.
I would like to hear what tricks and tips do you use to make the workflow as fast as possible.
