Temple Environment in UDK

This environment was a school project for FullSail University Online. I used Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, and UDK. I learned a so much from this project and can't wait to create bigger and better environments in UDK.

Hey, Not bad at all, but the texture on the tree looks extremely low res. You can add details to it easily with the adding a "detail texture" with high tiling in the material. Also, I'm not sure if I see it right, but maybe the leafs could use better normals. Have you seen this? The scale pattern on the pillar is a bit strange to me. The last thing that I would say is that maybe a more saturated post process could give better look. Good luck, keep going !

Thanks Obscura. I haven't seen that link before. Very nice. I rushed the tree and added it last minute. It wasn't a requirement for class but added it anyway and probably shouldn't have lol. I created a normal map for my leaf textures but had issues with the shader I had made and ran out of time. I will try to address that once I am finished with my Blizzard Student Art Contest entry.

Also I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a more saturated post process.

Robeomega- Very cool tutorial. Thank you. I will make some changes soon.

Ok so I made the tree a bit more detailed. I bought a copy of Ndo2 and made some much better looking tweaks to my normal maps for my tree bark and moss textures.

I adjusted my normals like the tutorial explained but my tree still looks the same. I must be doing something wrong lol.

Anyway, hopefully you guys like the changes. Thanks again.
