Hey guys,

I've been trying to improve my anatomy so I'd like some advice or help. I'm doing a digital maquette for some practice and would love it i got some feedback before I start to finalize shapes and then detal.
Cheers!232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv9629%3Dot%3E982%3C%3D563%3D345%3DXROQDF%3E262%3C99%3A965254ot1lsi232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3799%3Dot%3E982%3C%3D563%3D345%3DXROQDF%3E262%3C99%3A966254ot1lsi232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv4%3B5%3A%3Dot%3E982%3C%3D563%3D345%3DXROQDF%3E262%3C99%3B563254ot1lsi

You seem to have an understanding of the different muscle masses, but where you lack is proportions, connections and most importantly bone structure.

There's body proportions - size of arms relative to the rest of the body, how many heads, length of legs, torso, etc. But also, muscles have proportions, as they always connect to the same bones in the same, 99.9% of the times exact, way.

To improve upon this specific model - I'd say take another look at the rib cage and abdominal muscles. Also, if you look at the side view, see how his lower back is like a mass of clay. Shape it, put a real rib cage in there and the arc of the lower back, into the beginning of the pelvis. Check this out:

This guy's quite muscular (which is what you're after), and also a little exaggerated but it'll do. Try to see where the silhouette of your character is different. Try to check where muscles go and their proportions within the body mass. Try to see where they differ from your character's.

After you're done with this character, I'd recommend you take a few study sessions on the skeleton and how muscles connect to it. The best way to learn anatomy is to really know what's going on, not just copy shapes on a surface. That way you can really create and not just estimate/eyeball stuff.

    Good luck :)
