Opacity map with xoliul?

Hello,

I am trying to make the pressure gauge on a fire extinguisher, I have my maps set up correctly but the opacity isnt working. Well...It works but it makes the parts below the plastic cover on the gauge see through

The glass is trasparent, yes, but I cant see the actual gauge under the glass.

Any clues?

Im using max 2014 and xoliul's shader

as you can see, the plastic cover on the pressure gauge isnt clear :poly127:

and when I make it clear this happens:

believe it or not there IS a polygon under there with a pressure gauge texture -_________-

Its because you have multiple seperate Objects behind each other. I guess there is an option in xoliul to set the render order or to enable Hard masking to make multiple objects visible through transparancy (for example when you render grass planes).

http://viewportshader.com/help/ then you go to material properties -> opacity -> there are example images with your problem and theres a way to solve it :)

So I should delete the glass part, then add it again? Im confused

EDIT: my gosh it was THAT easy. Thank you!
