Hey guys, hope everything is good with y'all!

I was just thinking (more like begging) if there's rec. books, tutorials or something that could help me with my persp. drawings (tips and tricks).

I know i could google, but i'd like to hear your personal Pref.

A great starting point are the two Ctrl+Paint tutorials here http://ctrlpaint.myshopify.com/. They're not free, but $10 each is pretty damn cheap. Unlike most perspective tutorials, the emphasis is on freehand drawing rather than technical perspective.

Hands down for me the best tutorials on the subject are Scott Robertson's dvd's on Gnomon workshop.

Start with "Basic Perspective Form Drawing". Feng Zhu also has some decent perspective drawing dvds on Gnonom for environments.

Keep in mind with the Gnomon DVD's you will have to watch them over and over again as a beginner....there are some reading between the lines with these dvd's. However all the golden nuggets are there if you pay attention.

These ones look great too. Although I have not watched them myself yet.

Feng Zhu has a really good Gnomon video as well. That's how I learned a long time ago before college, even before I started 3D. Feng Zhu's is more about accuracy though, but he goes over 1 point perspective up to 5 point.

Edit: I'm pretty sure it was this one. More concept oriented and about developing the drawing for quick color overlays in Photoshop, but the Perspective information is still there.

If you're doing it in photoshop there's a built in perspective grid utility since CS4.
Even has snap functionality.

Scott robertson's 3 new books are for you than , grab them before they ran out. However his work and techs suit more industrial designers/ product and hard core concept people. If you are starting out youtube is your best source, I wouldnt advice Fheng Zhu as he is uber pro and not make perspective grids on his youtube channel like Scott so you can lose track of what he is doing. Hope it helps
