Hey, so here is a project I've been wanting to do.
Since I left school I've seen a lot of people talking about 3D sculpting being an important skill to have, so I am trying my first sculpt. I started with a low poly mesh in 3DS Max and imported it into Mudbox and this is the progress so far. I'm pretty green at this whole character sculpting thing so advice and critiques are welcome thanks guys!

Use IMGUR. Way better image hosting service.

Assuming you're using this for the concept

The Goron are more round than pudgy wide. Scale it to reflect that.

    Fists should be scaled up.

Right now, the sculpt looks really lumpy, tighten up edges.

    Sculpt in the serratus magnus!

Solid base, but looking too lumpy, but that can be fixed.

    Hey, thanks for the feedback.
Yeah that's the over all look I would like to achieve with this sculpt.
Like I said I'm pretty new to the concept of character sculpting it wasn't really encouraged in the classes I took when I attended college.

Any tips on where I should look to learn how to maximize my level of detail during my sculpts?
