I was wondering how the Cryengine material editor is set up. I know it's basically an uber-shader with checkboxes and stuff, but is there any sort of node editor with extra options? For a sci-fi scene I'm about to start, I'd like to do something with multimaps and colors(like using constants to add color to a mask basically). I'm limited to about 8 weeks before I graduate and I'd like to learn CryEngine before then(aiming for an internship at Crytek), but I'm also hoping to do some complex materials with multimaps and atlases (and to cut down on texturing time). Should I just stick to UDK for this and do a smaller CryEngine scene later?
