every so often, max bugs out and stops rendering verts. they're still there, but the blue dots are gone. does anyone have a good fix for this? sometimes restarting doesnt fix it. I usually have to merge the meshs into another scene. :(

    I had this problem once a long time ago. Unfortunately I can't remember how I fixed it, if I ever did - pretty sure it only happened to specific models/files for some reason.

    Try checking your Display Driver settings, updating your graphic drivers, and resetting your mesh if possible - convert to Editable Poly, Reset XForm, etc..

    It's possible to hide the vertices but not the polys. Pretty annoying, I've managed to do it before and took me a while to figure that out.

    Esure you're in vertex subobject mode and over on the side panel under the Edit Geometry section hit Unhide All.

    na it has nothing to do with that, its an annoying bug in 2011+ i switched to crosses instead of dots
