3ds Max "Path Deform" issue

hey guys, could you take a look at my picture and help me find out why the faces of my mesh aren't displaying ?

I can see the back faces so I'd say your faces are flipped.

have any ideas on how to flip them back and what caused the flipping in the first place ?

There is a "normal" modifier, which does exactly that.

To be honest, the path deform modifier has always been a bit of a troll for me. It often does whatever the hell it wants regardless of what I ask for. I just resigned myself to using it and then fixing whatever falls out the other side.

yes I am noticing this aswell luckily it is a very useful modifier

a modifier trolling you.. hehe.. but yeah. it can give "interesting" results at time.
