Tablet +laptop pc thingy

I searched around and there were a lot of laptop threads and a lot of tablet threads but none I saw that are both.

So, does anyone have one of these? Thinkpad x220, thinkpad x230, fujutsi and hp has some also.. I've been thinking that getting something like this makes a lot more sense than a cintiq, its still painting on the screen but its also portable and cheaper.

Anyways my concerns are:

How annoying is it having your arm on something hot for hours? Get used to it or just something you deal with for the advantages?

Is there a big difference between this and just an intuos or do you need to go up to the cintiq to start seeing some benefits?

Anyone with one of these have anything to say about it? Recommendations, precautions, etc?

The one thing that always kills it for me is not having hotkeys/keyboard in slate mode. Then it's battery life... Also finding a decent stylus is hard... saw this the other day: http://enliighten.com/blog/axiotron-studio-pen-for-tablet-pcs/ might be worth looking into.

If you're only aiming to be portable some of the time you might as well get some other device. Further down the line from my perspective, there's nothing more disappointing than having an obsolete tabletpc and wanting to use modern software on it.

Ooh forgot about this thread. Yeah those links its all about tablets for some reason. I guess the thinkpad line is new or something, you'd think there'd be discussions about it but those threads are all the samsung 7 only tablets etc.
